WHY DOES NORTHSIDE CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY EXIST?

Nationwide surveys, including the one held here at Northside, show that certain things contribute best to one’s spiritual growth. Things like a personal "Quiet Time," relationships with other believers and Biblical elective classes consistently rank the highest as those things that most contribute to one’s spiritual growth. Northside has the "Quiet Time Binder" to assist with personal devotions, LIFE Groups to build Christian relationships with other believers and now NCU will fill the role of offering Biblical founded elective classes.

WHAT IS NORTHSIDE CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY?

It is an exciting Bible based Christian education community whose mission is to nurture and unlock the minds of believers and assist them as they move down the "Pathway" from "Exploring Christ" to "Christ Centered," offering classes on everything from Biblical Interpretation to Science of Creation to The Life Of Christ and so much more.

WHEN DOES NCU START?

NCU operates within a semester system and offers two semesters a year, one in the spring and one in the fall. Each semester NCU offers classes, the subjects of which can be found in the Northside Christian University Course Catalog as well as at the NCU Kiosk in the Lobby.

HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?

Four weeks prior to the start of each semester, registration will begin at the NCU Kiosk. Each class costs around $60-$75 (scholarships are available) and last from six to ten weeks. However, NCU will be partnering with other ministries to bring in special classes and seminars - the cost of which would vary. Each student will be able to register for classes, ask questions, and buy books and other NCU materials at the NCU kiosk.

WHO WILL BE TEACHING THE CLASSES?

Each class has a qualified instructor to lead the class - that might be anyone from a Pastor, a local professor or even a live web feed with a professor from another state. Instructors will likely change semester to semester and can always be found in the Instructor Bio section of the Northside Christian University Course Catalog.
